What is included with a Private Chef Service?

All catering includes ~1.5 hour prep time and 1.5~2 hours cook and show time. Food includes your selections along with steamed rice, hibachi vegetables, spring mix salad with ginger dressing and our signature sauces. Tables, chairs, linens and chair covers not included, requested at $10/person. Disposable chopsticks and disposal bowl for rice will be provided by us, but plates, utensils and napkins are NOT included.

A hibachi chef cooks up to 30 people per event. If you have more than 30 people, we will have a second chef for you and an extra fee of $220 will be applied. For large events with 50 people or more, we offer the buffet style catering. We will bring our fresh ingredients and cook them right in front of your guests, and serve the food at the buffet station.

 

How does pricing work?

The price for our catering service is determined by how many people make a booking.

  • The minimum expense for an onsite hibachi chef is $1,000.
  • A hibachi chef cooks up to 30 people per event. If you have more than 30 people, we will have a second chef for you and an extra fee of $220 will be applied.
  • We can provide tables, chairs, linens and chair covers for $10/person.
  • Travel and setup fee is $250.
Is there a deposit?

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The cost of the deposit will vary depending on the size and scope of your event, though it is typically 50% of the total cost. If you need to cancel your event, 50% of the deposit can be refunded if canceled between 14 days and 72 hours prior to the event. If the order is canceled within 72 hours of the event, we cannot refund your deposit.

Can I change my reservation?

If you need to make changes to the number of guests on your reservation, please give us at least 3 days notice. Past that point in time, the guaranteed number of guests can no longer be decreased but you may add on if necessary. This will allow us to adjust the guest count and make any necessary changes. You will be charged for the guaranteed number of guests even if fewer guests attend the evening. Please note that you will be charged for any guests added after the guarantee deadline. For any other changes, please contact us as early as possible for adjustments.

How long does dinner take?

The whole experience usually takes 2 hours. In the circumstance that you are not ready to start dinner at your requested time, we will start charging $100 per hour after the agreed time.

What is your hibachi menu?

Our hibachi menu is available in this page. You can make your selection from the menu when you fill the contact-us form. Estimated expense will be auto calculated when  you make the selections.

Can you adjust the menu if you have any food allergen sensitivity and/or gluten intolerance?

Yes, we are more than happy to adjust the menu if you have any food allergen sensitivities and/or gluten intolerance. We can modify our ingredients accordingly to best serve guests who have food allergies.

Do you provide alcohol?

Currently, we do not provide alcohol with our service.

Do you have food for children?

We can certainly accommodate young children within our menu. We have a variety of items on our menu that are suitable for kids. If you have any specific requests, please don’t hesitate to let us know in advance so we can be sure to have what you need.
